We’re back with Part 2 of our Antibody Identification (ABID) webinar series: Putting It Into Practice.

Following on from the foundations laid in Session 1: Tools of the Trade, this session focused on applying key antibody identification techniques through real-world case discussions.

What we covered:

• Brief refresher on key ABID concepts covered in Session 1
• Three antibody identification case studies
• Step-by-step panel interpretation and reasoning
• Use of inclusion/exclusion logic, reaction grading, and serological techniques
• Audience participation through polls and interactive discussion

This session was designed to help transfusion staff strengthen their practical understanding of antibody identification, moving beyond theory and into hands-on problem solving.
