Valentine’s Day might be behind us, but today’s case is in full bloom this morning. This film is covered in “flowers,” though these aren’t the kind you’d want to receive in a bouquet.

The patient is a 55 year old individual, originally from the Caribbean, who presented to their doctor with generalised lymphadenopathy and an itchy skin rash that has persisted for several weeks. The high white cell count prompted a blood film review:
